Two masters, one label

Food supply chains answer two masters: regulators who demand traceability the moment something goes wrong, and margins that punish every wasted case. Tagging is awkward here for mundane reasons — packaging is damp, chilled or greasy; labels meet condensation and temperature swings; and the tag has to cost less than the confidence it creates.

Which tags fit, and why

Most food programs run on paper-faced UHF stickers applied at case or crate level, tracking lots from packer to distribution center to shelf so that a recall pulls hours of product instead of days. Where packaging sustainability rules apply, RFID eco labels on sustainable paper faces let the tag follow the carton into the same recycling stream as the box itself. Item-level work — premium goods, unmanned stores, bottle tagging — draws on the broader frequency label catalog, including HF and dual-frequency options when a consumer phone tap for provenance is part of the plan.

The recurring specification questions are surface and climate. Tell us whether the label meets cardboard, film or glass, and whether it lives at ambient, chilled or frozen temperatures; face stock and adhesive follow directly from those two answers, and we will flag combinations that struggle with condensation before you commit to a roll.

Ordering note

The buying loop is simple: a quote within 24 hours of your enquiry, free samples sent freight collect in 3–5 working days for cold-room and packaging-line trials, then production 7–15 days after artwork approval on ISO 9001-certified partner lines, with printing and encoding matched to your lot-coding scheme.

Quotations, samples and supply

How fast will I get a quotation?
We reply to every enquiry within 24 hours with a specific recommendation — chip, antenna, face material and adhesive — plus tiered unit pricing for the quantities you request.
Can I get samples before ordering?
Yes. Samples are free of charge (freight collect) and dispatched within 3–5 working days, so you can verify read performance on your own material before committing to production.
What is the production lead time?
Mass production typically ships in 7–15 days after artwork approval. Our partner factories run 30+ production lines with a combined capacity of about 1.5 billion tags per year.
Are you the manufacturer?
We are an independent supplier, not the factory. Production runs on audited partner lines in China that hold ISO 9001 certification and ARC-certified standard designs; we handle engineering review, sampling, QC and logistics, and remain your single accountable contact.
