RFID Textile Tags

Textile RFID tags are made to be sewn in and forgotten: soft faces, flexible inlays and constructions that live inside garments, linens and uniforms instead of hanging off them. How to choose

Feel and face material set the shortlist. Single-sided ribbon builds are softer and more economical than double-sided ones; nylon suits printed care-label workflows; woven and silk faces disappear into finished garments. Size and antenna geometry come next: the woven clothing label in this range measures 80 × 30 mm around a 70 × 17 mm antenna, a proven layout for garment-level UHF reads even when items are folded and stacked. Chip memory is the third lever — the Alien Higgs 9 version offers a 96–496-bit EPC plus 688 bits of user memory under ISO/IEC 18000-6C, which matters when batch history or care data must travel on the tag.
