The tail-style tag jewelers reach for: 66×26 mm of waterproof white PET that folds around necklaces, rings and earrings without scratching them, leaving a compact 25×13 mm printed head. Driven by the Qstar-7U chip with 128-bit EPC, 128-bit user memory, -17 dBm sensitivity and roughly 4 m read range under EPCglobal Class 1 Gen 2.

Counting a jewelry showcase used to mean opening it. With this tail tag looped onto every piece, a reader pass over the closed case returns the full inventory — each necklace, ring and earring answering with its own 128-bit EPC. A further 128 bits of user memory hold price codes, purity marks or provenance references.
Physically, the tag is engineered around the merchandise. Waterproof white PET, thin and light, wraps without abrading metal or stones, and the folded head presents just 25×13 mm of printable surface — enough for a barcode at 600 dpi. The Qstar-7U chip reads at -17 dBm sensitivity out to roughly 4 meters over ISO/IEC 18000-6C / EPCglobal Class 1 Gen 2.
