Cans and filled bottles are the two surfaces UHF likes least — one reflects the signal, the other absorbs it. The flag format sidesteps both. Stick this label’s adhesive section vertically on top of the container and the remaining portion stands free in the air, carrying its 40×20 mm antenna away from the interference below. Read distance holds at roughly 7 meters even on metal cans and liquid-filled drinks.
An Impinj M730 chip handles ISO/IEC 18000-6C / EPCglobal Class 1 Gen 2 communication with a 96-bit EPC, 48-bit TID and an unusually large 688-bit user memory for item data. The art paper face prints by thermal transfer or silk screen, and retail shelves and unmanned beverage vending machines are the format’s natural homes; operation is rated 0–60 °C.
